Voice of the child Family Finding Project

Child abandonment in Cameroon is a serious social issue, often fueled by poverty, unwanted pregnancies, and the stigma surrounding single motherhood. Many children are left in hospitals, on the streets, or in orphanages, particularly in major cities like Yaoundé and Douala. Overcrowded orphanages struggle to provide care, while weak enforcement of child protection laws exacerbates the problem. In response, Voice of the Child is raising funds through donations to support efforts in addressing this crisis, providing aid to vulnerable children and helping families in need. Their work aims to reduce abandonment by offering essential resources and support.
