In partnership with UK universities, Voice of the Child offers placement opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate social work students at our contact center. This scheme enables students to work directly with both parents and children, gaining practical experience in a supportive environment and integrate academic knowledge. Students work alongside our experienced team, gaining insights into contact services, assessments, and interventions. This immersive experience prepares future social workers to effectively advocate for children and support families navigating complex dynamics. During their placement, students have the opportunity to develop skills that meet the nine Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) standards and all Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS).
