Become a Volunteer

Interested in becoming a volunteer?

Voice of the Child is a registered charity dedicated to helping children and families reconnect in safe, supportive environments. By volunteering with us, you’ll be joining a mission-driven organization that works to rebuild relationships and strengthen family bonds during difficult times. Your support as a volunteer is invaluable, and it directly contributes to the well-being and happiness of children in your community.

We’ve seen parents waiting with anticipation and some nervousness after relationships have broken down. As volunteers, we’re here to make things go smoothly, and it’s truly rewarding to see new bonds start to form between parents and children. It’s even more heartwarming when, at the next visit, kids run in excitedly, ready to play and reconnect. — Volunteer, Voice of the Child Contact Centre

Do you have a few hours to spare on weekends?

As a Voice of the Child volunteer, you’ll help create a safe and welcoming environment where children can reconnect with their families. We look for volunteers who are impartial, caring, tolerant, sensitive, flexible, discreet, and reliable. Volunteers must prioritise children’s needs, remain neutral, and refrain from taking sides.

We’ll provide full training and induction support, so you feel well-prepared and confident in your role. If you’re interested in making a difference in children’s lives as part of a trusted, registered charity, we’d love to hear from you!

To apply to become a volunteer at Voice of the Child, please send an email to enquiry@voiceofthechild.org and our center coordinator will answer any questions, explain the application steps, and provide necessary paperwork.
