Role Summary
As a Mental Health and Wellness Support Volunteer, you’ll support the organization’s wellness initiatives by assisting in group activities, resource distribution, and mental health outreach under the supervision of mental health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Help organize and facilitate wellness activities for families and children.
- Assist with distributing mental health resources and educational materials.
- Support group discussions and provide a compassionate presence during activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for all participants.
Skills
- Interest in or background in psychology, mental health, social work, or a related field.
- Good listening skills and a non-judgmental approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
