Refferrals
Our Refferral Form
At Voice of the Child, we prioritise creating a smooth and accessible process for families seeking our support. To begin using our services, families must first complete our referral process, which helps us understand each family’s unique needs and ensure the right level of support. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get started.
Not sure which service you need? Let us help you decide.
Step 1
Visit our website to access and complete the Referral Form online. Once submitted, you’ll receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt. This email will contain a link to pay the £70 referral fee, which is required to proceed with the next steps.
Step 2
Using the link provided in the acknowledgment email, register for an account on the Voice of the Child website. This account allows you to access the payment page and complete the one-off £70 referral fee. Once we receive your payment, you will be invited to book a pre-visit assessment appointment.
Step 3
After your referral is reviewed, you’ll be prompted to schedule a Pre-Visit Assessment. Log into your account, select “Pre-Visit Assessment” from our service options, and book an available date and time that suits your schedule. Upon successful booking, a confirmation email with all appointment details will be sent to you.
Step 4
To ensure you’re fully prepared for your pre-visit assessment, we’ll send a reminder email one to two days before your scheduled appointment. This email will include any final details you need to make the process as smooth as possible.
If you have questions or need further assistance with the referral process, please reach out to us. We’re here to support you every step of the way as you begin your journey with Voice of the Child.

F.A.Q. About Our Services
A child contact centre is a safe, neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with their non-resident parent or other family members.
Costs can vary depending on the type of contact service. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation, and we will provide details on any fees involved.
Currently, Voice of the Child Contact Centre does not have specific funding to support families directly. Therefore, our services are self-funded unless the referral is made by social services, in which case the costs might be covered by them. We recommend discussing your situation with your solicitor or your local council to explore any available options.
No, you do not have to meet your ex-partner if you prefer not to. We can arrange staggered arrival times and separate waiting areas.
The type of contact is often determined through discussions between parents, legal advisors, or by a court order. Our role is to support the agreed arrangement in a safe environment.
